We are a young and vibrant group envisaging the deployment of wearable and point-of-care biosensors and bioelectronics that could produce clinically relevant health data for remote ambulatory monitoring. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of our research, we welcome team members coming from diverse backgrounds such as materials science, chemistry, chemical and biological engineering, and related fields. Our current research areas can be found here.

We seek future research leaders, those who thrive on intellectual independence. The ideal candidate doesn't just execute experiments; they own their projects, formulate hypotheses, and drive discovery with a blend of logic and creative problem-solving. If this describes you, we invite you to connect.
For PhD applicants, those with prior research experiences are preferred. Interested applicants should directly contact Dr. Nyein with information including CV, transcript(s), and a brief introduction about you. PhD applicants should apply for HKPFS (due on early December).

Postdoctoral candidates should show evidence of strong research ability and independence. Postdoctoral application materials should include a cover letter describing your skills and research interests, a CV, and contact information of 2-3 referees.

For all other positions including RA, undergraduate, and master studies, please directly contact Dr. Nyein.
